Privacy Policy

The short version: we collect what you type into our quote form, we use it to reply to you and do the work you asked about, and we never sell it or share it for marketing. That's the whole spirit of this page.
Who we are
Nextrank is a web design and AI visibility studio operated from New Zealand. You can reach us any time at hello@nextrank.co.nz. We handle personal information under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
- Quote form details. Your name, business name, email, phone number if you give it, your current website address, and whatever you write about what you need.
- Email correspondence. Anything you send us by email, so we can keep track of your project.
- Basic technical logs. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as IP addresses and page requests, for security and reliability. We don't use them to identify you.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use this site: pages viewed, roughly where visitors come from, and whether the quote form gets used. IP addresses are anonymised and we don't feed this data into advertising. If you block analytics with your browser or an extension, the site works exactly the same.
We don't run advertising trackers, and we don't use marketing or retargeting cookies on this site.
What we use it for
- Replying to your enquiry with a quote, and any free preview snippet you asked for.
- Doing the work you hire us for, and invoicing it.
- Occasional service messages about your own project. No newsletters unless you ask for one.
Who else sees it
Form submissions are processed by Netlify, our hosting provider, and land in our inbox. Email is handled by our mail provider. Both act as processors on our behalf. We don't sell your information, rent it, or hand it to anyone for their own marketing. Ever.
How long we keep it
Enquiries we keep for up to two years so we can pick a conversation back up. Client project records we keep for seven years, because New Zealand tax law requires it. If you want something deleted sooner, ask.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@nextrank.co.nz and we'll sort it, usually within a few working days. If you're not happy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update this page and the date at the top. We won't quietly weaken it.
